That 400 mile drive from the day before was definitely worth it. We drove from Banff to Jasper and back, along the Icefields Parkway. It is well named because you drive along snowcapped mountains with glaciers everywhere. We even walked on one—we took a “snowcoach” to the Columbia Icefield and walked on the Athabasca Glacier.
